Is this true?

The CAA logo needs to come off JMU facilities, WTF are we waiting for?

I graduated with a degree in sports media years ago, and even though I don't work in the field at current, I still follow it heavily. CAA, to my understanding uses the money it makes off of Flo Sports to buy Air time on CBSSN. Outside of the contractually obligated game you get, they get to choose how many games you get on a National Broadcast

Where it gets tricky is the rumor is 30-40 percent of Flo Sports Subscribers are JMU fans, so the league is using JMU fans money to essentially screw JMU. Which is exceedingly petty, but pretty par for the course for the league as a whole.

RE: CAA Commissioner…
So how many people do we think have a month by month rather than yearly subscription to flo. If the day after the Uva game, the caa was to suddenly lose 40 percent of its media subscriptions, that would be too bad. Just sayin...

If it’s true, it’s likely another petty, crybaby response to all the folks bailing out on our gal Flo in the last few weeks.

I see it everywhere I read JMU stuff online.

Pathetic

Some of our MBB/WBB games (including away) are exclusively on Flo thru 2/27.

My subscription will be gleefully terminated by Feb 28. Tempted to do it now, but really enjoying MBB games this year.

Student section started a "f*** the CAA" chant during the mason game. It was rather noticeable. CAA Sucks = more tasteful for TV IMO 04-cheers

I'd much prefer a "Joey-D" chant, screw that guy.

Excited to see what school he chooses to play dress up at in the future, what a clown.

I prefer "F### the CAA" but a better strategy to get the whole arena to chime in is "CAA-Sucks!"

Maye we can get one side to say "CAA" and then the other side follows with "Sucks"

Guess we know which sideline he'd be on in Frisco...... Wonder if he'd ask Cig to pose with him and Ferrante before the NC Game?

I hope we hang signs and get chants going all game long, so much that the announcers can’t help but discuss it several times. Also hope we keep those chants family friendly, it reflects poorly when they include F bombs.

RE: CAA Commissioner…
While CAA is screwing JMU out of games on CBSS, they are also cutting off their nose to spite their face. I'm sure CBSS wants the most amount of viewers they can get for these games and the CAA is basically saying "no, you get what we give you and you'll like it".
They are constantly making decisions that are going to make it next to impossible to get a better media deal in the future as they are screwing the company they are making the deal with.
CAA is showing exactly how NOT to do things. It will not end well for them and I will enjoy watching their downfall.

My understanding is CBS SN was the one selecting the games, and thats why there were more games featuring JMU.

So yes, it appears the CAA now twisted CBS arm in some fashion and said "cancel the JMU games" ... CBS SN will probably continue to air some games in the future for a price, but if I'm CBS SN, it just became a lot less attractive, and maybe the price for exposure goes up, or they move the timeslots, etc.

There is a Dukes-hater from Drexel with the handle of J.B. who is apparently a poor excuse for a moderator slamming us for not exactly liking what the CAA is doing to us. He just gave me 6 negative rep points.

That’s total garbage, trolling our forum and giving negative ratings for comments that have nothing to do with him or Drexel directly. Hopefully a moderator can scrub your points and also dish out a warning to that user to stay in his own lane. My points were demolished years ago by an obnoxious Temple fan on the MAC forums, every day he’d come on with a different witty user name with the sole purpose to flame. The moderators were able to scrub, but didn’t wipe them all out.

I am now more determined to get a "CAA Sucks" chant going during the UVA game

Not sure how, at a minimum I will stop by the pep bank and let them know anything they can do will be supported in section 108

LOL, Drexel board has like 3 posters TOTAL.

They ought to think twice about getting into a points/mod battle with us. I see a -200 in JB's future if he isn't careful.
