According to Mike Huguenin of On 3 Sports who was on Full Ride said that Fickell wanted to coach UC if they made it into the final 4. So that was holding up any discussion of him becoming HC at USC. So that has put things in limbo. I wish someone would just come out and say he is going or not going. This constant uncertainty if terrible. Going to USC is great financially but you could be fired in 5 years. Plus your kids would have to live in the land of fruits and nuts. I am not sure his kids could handle living there.

Are you saying that he's likely to go to USC, but wants to coach in the semis if we make it? And what about Southern California wouldn't his kids be able to handle. Be specific now.
