I think if Dockery hadn't died he wins 9-10 games with the same team Dempsey started out 5-1-1 with and finished 5-5-1. Then the next year it all fell apart and Dempsey rightfully got canned.

Dempsey, Norvell, and Silverfield are the only fb coaches I can think of who took over strong fb teams. Dempsey destroyed his team, Norvell kept it rolling, Silverfield has it headed south fast......

At least under Rip, we were good on Defense and better than average on Special Team. CRS is doing a nose dive on all 3 phases.

Would have been nice to have the players that left after last season. Doesn’t seem like the ones I’m thinking of went to greener pastures. They likely would have helped us win a couple more games here though.

Well and I wasn’t even talking about those players. TCU and USC stink this year. TJ and Eze got to be apart of a squad that got a tenured coach fired. That and Washington isn’t gonna repeat his 700+ yard receiving season he had last year. He probably would have played a big role next season when Austin is gone.

That’s because of national playmakers academy led by Buck Fitzgerald. He gets nice kickbacks sending his players to different schools.that’s how we got Carter and eze and how TCU got them now..
