66-65 and Fisher fouls out. ULaLa is close to having 5 players in double digits.

68-68 with 0:41 left. ULaLa up to 51% shooting for the game; meaning they're over 60% for the half and likely 66% this quarter.

Ha, try shooting splits of 90/75/75 in the quarter.

70-68 Louisiana with 0:26 left. Have to tip your cap to them - they're 10 of 11 in the quarter and have needed every one. Clinical on offense in the quarter.

Ha, try shooting splits of 90/75/75 in the quarter.

Geez. Just saw that. What exactly happened to our defense? And why did Bellamy hardly play at all the 2nd half?

69-72 with 9 seconds left. Can we get Catlyn a decent look?

We lose 69-73. A painful loss as ULaLa outscored us 32 - 16 in the final quarter. We gave up 32 points in a quarter! Yikes!

Again, why did Bellamy only play 2 minutes the entire 2nd half?

73-69 Louisiana final. Tough loss, but can't win when you give up 32 points in a quarter. Good learning experience for the team, which is what these non-conference games are all about. Agree with Walt about Bellamy - when you're getting picked apart, especially in the 4th, no reason not to try to change it up. But remember, this is also Edmonds' second game as a head coach. There are going to be learning pains for her too.

Need to get Swayze back for her offensive punch. But I think after tonight, you have to be more confident that we can win at least a few games in conference.

What makes it so odd is that Bellamy had a heck a 1st half. 8 points, 8 boards, 2 blocks in just 11 minutes. She was playing very solid defense in the post. Just a total headscratcher.

Write this season off for rebuilding.

Good recruiting class is on the way.

Not the best of weekends with football and hoops. But this was definitely the most competitive effort among those three teams.

Looks like we ran out of gas at the end also but Louisiana is not a bad team. We have to see how this team and the new coaching staff grows with time.

Even more puzzling why Bellamy played just 2 minutes the entire second half, and saw no action is the disaster of the 4Q.

Was she injured?
