To be fair based on things I believe Silverfield said during the summer, when Gunnell went down Seth was running with the first team and Keilon Brown was running with first and second. Parrish by indications before and after Gunnell's injury he had become fourth of the four. So I wonder what changed since then.
He may have meant the first QB off the bench for meaningful minutes. Like Seth going down. Parrish was in to wind the clock down, not to actually run the offense. His final stats: passing 0-0 for 0 yards, rushing 0 for 0 yards.

So now the 3rd string qb comes in for mop-up duty, while the 2nd string gets no reps?
Are you saying I shouldn’t apply for the solver of life’s little mysteries job?

Many times the most obvious answer is the right one. The obvious answer is Parrish - not Brown - is the current backup.
