I'm guessing we only have enough video people and staff to focus on the football team and not the soccer game for ESPN online coverage.

Excellent game on Saturday...end to end action on both sides of the ball! Unfortunately could not pull out the "W". Bowling Green is definitely deserving of its ranking. Physical game yes but the ref blew the whistle a bit too much and missed a few calls. The crowd was definitely into the game, including some very boisterous groups of students. It was great to see Coach Hammock in the crowd plus Rocky and a few other football players.

Curious, what would you ball park the attendence Saturday night and what would you say was the average attendence at a home game for a soccer game last year?

RE: Men's Soccer v BGSU
Curious to see how Tuesday's new national rankings impact the Huskies. NIU matched BGSU pound for pound. Saturday's match reaffirms for me that this team should have been nationally ranked sooner than it was.

Nonetheless, NIU may go up a notch of two and BGSU may go down a notch or two?! A review of this weekend's (or earlier in the week) action around college soccer shows plenty of upsets of other ranked programs. This may also help the cause for the Huskies:
#1 Georgetown Lost to Providence
#5 VA Tech Lost to Wake Forest
#7 Pitt Lost to Wake Forest
#9 Duke Lost to Clemson
#14 LMU Lost to UCLA
#15 JMU Lost UNCW
#16 UNCG Lost to Belmont
#19 Cornell Lost to Yale
#20 Providence Lost to Butler (But upset Georgetown on Thursday)
#24 SMU Lost to UCF
#25 Lost to San Jose State

I looked at the stat sheet for the game and it shows 506. Athletics does keep a count so I'd have to assume that is correct. Crowd count seemed to be a bit larger to me.

Been going to games for years, both as a student and alumni. Typically, crowds are in the 200 range or less. Nice attendance on Saturday and last week vs WVU. It`s great to have some loud students in the crowd...There was some good, quality/clean heckling!
