Who are you most looking forward to see from the new guys?
Obviously looking forward to seeing all of the new players, but really looking forward to see how Mohab Yasser will contribute. From pictures and videos he looks tough, talented and experienced beyond his years from his international play. 6'5" big guard that seems to want to bang, nice ball handler and passer. Just thinking he could be a matchup problem in the league, similar to how Adam Sollazzo was.

RE: Who are you most looking forward to see from the new guys?
Definitely looking forward to seeing his contributions. He reminds me of UNCG's Francis Alonso, who joined their team after playing with Spain's National Team and was able to contribute right away, and be a thorn in our side for four years.
From the transfers, interested to see Jordan King and Jaden Seymour on the floor.
Heck i'm interested in seeing everyone.. Kordell Charles stands out as a newcomer

I'm looking forward to seeing if Nunez can establish himself as a presence underneath. Actually, I'm excited to see all the newcomers. I'm just as excited to see Coach Oliver's style of play, and if he buries most new players at the end of the bench.

Coach Oliver most certainly will not bury the newcomers. With no depth returning, it will be imperative for the newcomers to become capable backups asap.
BUCs were short on post play last year. The newcomers have size but are short on experience. To have a successful season, IMO, new bigs must step up.

I'm anxious to see Jayden Seymour. Hope he can be a solid wing player.

RE: Who are you most looking forward to see from the new guys?
Im anxious to see just about everyone, including all the new coaches and their style of play. The other thing I will be watching for is if the newcomers connect well with our guys from last year. But King and Charles look interesting....Go Bucs

Did anyone make it to the open practice? Was out of state and wasn't able to attend but was hoping for some first hand reports.
Go Bucs

Oliver, if he sucks it doesn't matter how much talent the team has.

Yes I am waiting to see if Coach O can handle the head coaching job which is always the case with a new head coach. I am hoping he wins SoCon Coach of the Year this year. Also, I want to see if the new players can actually perform on the court and blend with the old players. I want to see the point guards perform and really want to see if we have a player who can come in for Silas and play strong at the 5 position. It is going to be interesting.

I would be interested in hearing what people have to say that have seen some of our practices and can offer some insight. How does our defense look? Is defense being stressed? What kind of an offense will we be running? Will Jordan or David be our starting point? Cannot wait to see our players in person. Go Bucs!

RE: Who are you most looking forward to see from the new guys?
I'll pass along some comments from Bucfaithful, who continues to be a major fan and was there but no longer bothers with the board:
In general it was high energy run and gun, but also intense defensively.
King is indeed the shooter on the video and looks exceptional - Faithful says mark his words, King will be all SoCon.
Allen appears to be a pass first point guard.
Both Brewers looked "sensational". It's not surprising that they would flourish in the run and gun.
Kordell and Jaden look like high major wings with their length.
Returners looked especially good, and Vonnie was more involved with the offense than Faithful had ever seen him. Personally I remember well Forbes last open practice 2 years ago - Vonnie sank an open 3 from the corner and got yelled at by Forbes for taking the shot. It looks like Oliver will encourage more offense from Vonnie.
Weber was out on concussion protocol.
Faithful thinks that Mohab has "an old school feel" to his game - tough, played mostly under the rim, but effective.
All in all, he was very enthused.

Thanks for the update. Those are things I was wanting to hear. Cannot wait to see us play in person.

RE: Who are you most looking forward to see from the new guys?
Vonnie shot the ball much better the last few games of last season. I think he can score 8 a game or so (if needed) with 35% from 3.
