MAC West Division Leader
Your NIU Huskies are in sole possession of 1st place in the MAC West.
Ball State wrecked WMU and both teams are 1-1 in MAC play.
EMU has a loss to us but just beat Miami.
CMU has a loss already and is struggling to beat Ohio.
Toledo has a loss to us and is 1-1 in MAC.

MAC West is 3-1 vs. MAC East after CMU and EMU beat their East division opponents today.

Now just wait until things start fully firing on offense in terms of our passing game, these ugly wins will get a whole lot prettier

Who will they use to replace Rocky? I don't see our passing game improving with him behind center.
He does have some positives as he is a good runner, a tough competitor and he has come through in clutch situations. Still it is maddening to see his interceptions and inability to complete passes to open receivers.

Probably the biggest loss in Huskie history. Would have been back to back FBS bowls had we won that game, no other G5 has ever done that.

He just has to get a little lower on his drop back to activate his legs on all his throws. That’ll be $100K, please…

All these bench Rocky posts man…
I kid. The passing game will never “get going” under Rocky. He can’t pass. Yes he will hit some passes, sometimes. He’s a college QB he has to have that in him.
This is a win dirty team. Not a team that the passing game is waiting to “wake up.” It may show a flash here or there, but with Rocky that offense is not a passing offense.
Rocky can help the team win Dirty, and that’s what Hammock has decided to do. Would not be surprised though if there is a Rocky injury and this offense finally takes off.

How long will it take for a “Rank em” thread to surface on the MAC board this week? Ha, ha.
Will one even be posted by the posters who have been posting them all season? Will it not show up until Wednesday or Thursday or later? Ha, ha.

Have you seen any of our backups??? Who’s going to take this offense to the next level???

Well, epasnoopy had to “ruin it” by posting the thread himself but it’s Thursday and neither of the two posters who always post the “Rank em” thread has chimed in on his Week 6 thread.
Although, one did post on the previous week’s thread regarding this week. But they couldn’t take it upon themselves to start a new thread (assuming they missed snoopy’s thread) or acknowledge and post on the appropriate Week 6 thread.
Also, the other poster is completely M.I.A. on the subject. Ha, ha. Typical.

It's all good, I like talking to our fellow conference fans and posting about MAC related news over there. There are still a lot of doubters from other fans on the WMU, Toledo, and Ball State fan boards.
I'm fine with us being the underdog and raking up wins against their teams.

It’s amusing that the thread you posted four days ago has TWO replies. The other weekly Rank ‘em threads have 23, 23, 11, 19, 7, and even 40 replies for the Pre-Week 1 thread.
Again, yours (when NIU is undefeated and spitting in the face of those shoveling dirt on NIU’s grave for the past two seasons) has TWO.
Typical.

I'm sure a lot of fans of other MAC teams were happy when we stopped dominating the conference and all the wins. Then they finally had their chance. Imagine how much more dominant we would have been if we played in the East division, which is much weaker than the West.

Massey has the rest of the season pretty much at 50% (except for BG at 77%) chance of winning each game.
NIU controls it's destiny, and could certainly be in the mix for winning the west.
A worst to first scenario would be great.

Central Michigan and Western Michigan I see as major hurdles, be tough games. We get Western at home which is nice, but Central Michigan is always a big concern. We are in the drivers seat right now.
