Likely Williams goes to jail and the other guys pay the money back or they go to jail.

Who knows.
07-coffee307-coffee3 ALL of them should serve some time in jail. There should always be consequences for crimes committed. It does not seem that many people get jail time for anything anymore. Riot's, looting, etc. etc. If you are going to do the crime then you should do the time.

What the hell are you even talking about?

There are more Americans in jail or prison than any other country on earth.

Agreed. I’m just throwing out what I could see happening. Although, sure looks like a whole lot more than $300 or $400. Lol

Exactly. I was just waiting for someone to connect this to "rioting and looting." I bet CDR has never rioted or looted. Having reported insurance litigation against their own claimants for 48 years, I can tell you there is more fraud perpetuated by insurance companies against their own insureds than there is by people filing claims. The insurance industry is dirty, dirty, dirty. They try to bully and intimidate legitimate claimants.

So that makes these crimes, if proven in a court of law, not punishable?
Classic whataboutism.
If these guys indeed did defraud the insurance fund they should be punished to the full extent of the law. Period.
If that means jail time, tough.

I mean, when did it become ok to commit crimes? When the hell did that insane mindset begin? Seriously wtf?

I don't think a single post in this thread implies that.

This crime has nothing at all to do with the university. Zilch. Nada.

Univ of Memphis should be no more embarrassed than:

Univ of Louisville (Williams)
Oklahoma St (Allen)
Univ of Tennessee (Watson)
LSU (Davis)
Texas A&M (Wright)
Michigan State (Anderson AND Brown)
Univ of Washington (Wroten)
Univ of Cincinnati (Patterson)
Univ of Arizona (Bynum)
Ga Tech (also Bynum)
Colorado St (Palacio)
Univ of Central Oklahoma (Robinson)
Fresno State (Smith AND Ely)
and various high schools and jucos

No, we should be embarrassed because Shere Khuck is embarrassed of his school and openly hates his alma mater for being good at basketball.
