We are 3 and a half weeks past the daily death peak which occurred September 15. Beating that horse gets harder with each day of new data, so where does the Biden* team go next for their excuses?
Possibilities include the next variant, or maybe they spend their time touting how they ended COVID. How do they rationalize the economy and divert attention from the continuing border crisis? If you are in the planning room, what do you exploit for political gain at this point?

Declare war on Canada... I saw that in a movie once... It worked then, why not now?
It will be the next variant. They will have to set up the excuse for the next wave if there is one and it can't be that the masks and vaccines aren't working. If there isn't another wave, they'll claim the vaccine mandates won, but they have to CYA in case there is. Then it will be vaccine mandates for school children.

This is one specific area where I REALLY miss Rush Limbaugh. He knew what narratives the left would use, often weeks/months in advance. Most radio folks react to the news... he predicted it.

The high school shooting in Arlington, Texas provides the next big push, taking away guns.
The vaccine mandates and push for the third shot will of course continue to be big issues as well. We’ll see another variant emerge with cases rapidly climbing before Thanksgiving, and the number of hospitalized among the vaccinated will make the third shot mandatory. For those just now getting their first shots in order to keep their jobs, they’ll be required to get the third jab at 3 months after the second. 4th jab will be out in January. They’ll push to make it required jabs every 3 months for life or you get fired with no chance of unemployment.
