About the same as last year...not great. But we don't really care about that this season do we? Because if the Tigers don't walk into a NCAA bid this year it will be a colossal fail. So Memphis and Houston will be good. SMU and Wichita will be next tier teams. Cincy might surprise some people with their new coach taking over. We will see. That's probably about it. Two bid league maybe?

Top heavy. Memphis and Houston should be top 25 teams all year. Wichita and SMU might be good. The rest will probably be garbage.

Yep, two bid league. Memphis and Houston will both be top 15 teams and have a chance for Elite Eight/Final Four runs in March.
Wichita State and SMU should both have good seasons and get into the NIT.
i think we compare favorably to the PAC-12 this year, but far below the ACC, Big 12, Big 10, SEC and Big East.

Over the history of the AAC, we've averaged 3 bids.
In 2019 it was 4 bids (and none were UConn), in 2020 it was 2 bids.
I don't believe Memphis has ever been as an AAC team.
Memphis will go this year.
3 bids likely.
So about where we always are.
