Ryan Rollins: NBA??
Not sure if this has been talked about in other threads around the board, but I stumbled upon a very detailed, and thorough article breaking down Ryan Rollins NBA potential, published in late august (Link : https://premiumhoops.org/2021/08/19/put-...our-radar/ ). Lots of good information on what he does well now, how that translates to the next level, and what he needs to work on going forward. Furthemore NBADraft.net has him going 27th in the 2023 draft (Link: https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts...-mock=2023 )! That is a long time from now, but I think we can safely say Rollins is one of the best NBA prospects to come through our men's program in some time! Will love to see how he progresses in his career here.

Wow that’s great to see! I always thought rollins had nba potential decent size, long arms, and sneaky athletic! Im definitely hoping he turns out to be a pro that would be great for the program. really expecting a big year from him.

Has that Antonio Daniels George Hill type build-6-4 and lanky but with big shoulders. I've also seen him as a likely NBA player since his opening games last year. I think he needs to keep working on his ballhandling as he's either gonna play pg at the next level or dribble drive off iso or pick n roll actions. Next step this year is finishing better at the rim and settling into his mid range game. I think this group of Rockets probably peaks in the 2022-23 season. So, would be great if he could be a part of that group and then make the NBA move after his 3rd year and we can reload.

Coach K obviously saw something special in rollins that most coaches didn’t see, surprised a lot of those Michigan schools didn’t go after rollins harder!

CMU only Michigan D1 offer. Overall, 5 MAC and 10 D1 offers. Supposedly, his on court demeanor turned off some scouts. They thought he was lackadaisical or not trying hard. Clearly, they were wrong as Ryan plays very hard, just kind of looks laid back on the court. Remember, he signed before his sr year with UT and went on to be one of the top scorers in the state. So, he likely would have got more offers throughout his sr year.
