Yahoo has an excellent NCAA football pod, with Dan Wetzel, Pat Forde, and Pete Thamel. It comes out two or three times a week. Lots of informed chatter, reporters talking about their opinion and what they know rather than what they're willing to commit to in a written story.

Episode 44: UAB Georgia Game Recap (1-1) is now available

Your podcast is media and is honestly one of the best resources for UAB football and basketball.
Are you or Steve allowed to go and ask questions during the Monday morning press conferences? Or would it be conflict of interest since Steve is the color commentary for the radio coverage?

I'm sure other schools allow 247 blogs and other media thats not print or local news attend their press conferences and ask questions. It seems the only media that show up and ask questions are Evan Dudley (al.com) and local media outlets - which this morning I heard maybe just Evan and 1-2 different other news outlets asking questions.

First, thanks so much for listening to us that means a lot. Second, I can’t answer for Steve but I know I wouldn’t be able to do Monday morning press conferences in person because of my full-time job but definitely considered it if they were doing it via Zoom again this year.

Great job as usual. I got the impression from the NT guest that we may see a few designed QB runs. Hopefully, they will be ineffective.
