That's probably the best running back we will see all year. Congrats Tigers. Win the rest. BTW, if you guys figure out how to play defense.....let us know, we could use some of that too!

Like I said in another thread, I'm looking forward to watching ASU kick Washington's butt on the road next week!

Tigers were lucky to get away with a win last night. ASU has a good football team that Jonesboro takes much pride in. As well they should.

Thank you. My wife and I made the trip. Our first to Jonesboro and we enjoyed everything. Everybody was kind and welcoming. Had some good food at skinny J’s. Crawfish cakes and fried green tomatoes were excellent. The stadium is nice. Home side looked very nice, especially those suites and chairbacks. Your quarterback and receivers are really good. I love the short drive too. Will be back

Yeah, I had so much fun in your game thread last night I forgot to congratulate you guys on the win. It was a fun game to watch even though we lost. Good luck to you guys in the realignment stuff going forward.

No, they need to stay the course, and just wear teams down.
The play that won this game for Memphis happened in the UCA game, when Blackman lost his helmet. That meant you got to play their second team QB for most of the game, and that was the difference.

Not really...although he is very talented. What almost cost us the game is when we started to play not to lose rather than playing to win.
Good luck the rest of the way.

I don't know that Jones sees it that way. That is, if he did indeed say, "We have two quarterbacks." It will be interesting to see how he handles this situation down the road. It's not like either kid is a bust.

Yea I hope ASU proves to be very good. Not sure why we can't play defense.

Well Butch wants to be like you and be able to run and pass as needed, but they are not there yet as far as the running part.

RE: Congrats
My opinion, for ASU, is that Hatcher should be the number one QB. Yes, Blackman made plays, but a lot of his balls were jump-balls. Blackman is a lightening in a bottle type QB, whereas Hatcher seems much more consistent. I'm not 100% sold on Blackman's decision making. Also, Pare played really well. I have no idea why he doesn't get more touches.
