Full Schedule just dropped:
2021 EMU Football Schedule
Friday, Sept. 3 SAINT FRANCIS
Saturday, Sept. 11 at Wisconsin
Saturday, Sept. 18 at UMass
Saturday, Sept. 25 TEXAS STATE
Saturday, Oct. 2 at NIU*
Saturday, Oct. 9 MIAMI*
Saturday, Oct. 16 BALL STATE*
Saturday, Oct. 23 at Bowling Green*
Tuesday, Nov. 2 at Toledo*
Tuesday, Nov. 9 OHIO*
Tuesday, Nov. 16 WESTERN MICHIGAN*
Friday, Nov. 26 at Central Michigan*
Saturday, Dec. 4 at MAC Championship

Now getting to see how it all is playing out, I still stand by my thought of no reason this team shouldn't be 3-1 heading into MAC play. From there (worse case) NIU should be a win (4 wins). Miami and Ball State are tough games, but both being at home I think we should at least get a split (5 wins). BG should be a win (6 wins) but at Toledo could easily be a loss. Finishing up with Ohio and WMU at home and @CMU we should at least get one of those (7 wins).

Outside of injuries or other things beyond our control, this team should AT LEAST be 7-5 (4-4 in the MAC) and honestly that would be somewhat disappointing. I think an 8-10 win season is well within reach for this team, especially with some minor improvements on the D.

2021 Schedule
Just imagine the fun we'd have if EMU were to pull the upset in Madison.

5 conference games at home, 3 on the road, a favorable non-conference schedule, and no Buffalo. If there is a year to take advantage of what the scheduling gods dished out to you, this appears to be it.

Agreed! Many of Creighton's past schedules were front loaded with the most quality conference opponents early, thus producing an uneven result at the end. Other than not playing Akron, I cannot think of a better schedule.

2020 was supposed to be a very nice schedule but it went up in the air.

This is a really good schedule with nice balance throughout. No more than 2 consecutive road games and a lot of HOME games in September and early October. Could come to homecoming with a nice record.

No true bye week. The bye week is chopped in week with one half before TOL and also before Central.

The midweek games suggest that the MAC office gave us some games which could be desirable for TV.

Anybody going to UMass game? Wondering what section to try and buy tickets to sit amongst those in green?

RE: 2021 Schedule
Know it's a bit early, but here is the UMass single game pricing and parking. Tickets $25 prime and $18 reserved for tier 3 games, which is for EMU and Maine. Tier 1 is BC and every one else is tier 2 pricing. Parking $5 in advance or $10 cash on game day for tier 3 and $10 for tier 1 and 2.

The visitor side is in the sun being on the east side and some UMass folks do sit in the Prime seats but always plenty of tickets.

This is an old link and have not update the first post but added one trailing post. Things like explaining the parking lots is still true. Some of the images are outdate as not showing new bathrooms closer to sections 17 and 18 and 7 and 8. The old massive bathrooms are a walk South outside the stadium confines. Your team will enter down by section 11, as the south side older bathrooms have the team meeting and locker rooms in the middle with both gender bathrooms on both ends.
Visitor's Guide

Single game ticket and parking

Eastern Michigan and Maine are in tier 3, which is $25 for tickets and $5 for advance parking.

This kind of stinks. I don't mind paying $5 a month or whatever it is for ESPN+ in the fall since we usually have multiple games on ESPN+ every season, but it looks like we'll have to pay for flofootball.com to watch this game and I highly doubt we ever have a game on there again.

Was looking earlier to see if they had a pay by the game option but did not see anything.

Hopefully they do, if not ill just listen to WEMU.

Looks like flofootball offers a free 7-day trial. I'm thinking I'm going to sign up for a trial on September 17 and decide I don't like it on September 19.

Nice! I know a lot of sites do that type of free trial so I was hoping they had that option.

Agreed! That sounds like a great idea. Anyone know when the media guide is available showing the starters and 2 deeps?

Today's mega question:

Some FBS teams start their season THIS Saturday. Should EMU (and other MAC teams), "jump the gun" and try to play in Week 0? (This weekend is really the week before Week 1).

Do schools have preference based on when their students return to school (some school are already in class).

the first home game of the year is often part of new student orientation to pump up attendance. its a good scam.

Always thought northern college football should start the 3rd weekend of August and avoid the late season crappy weather games.
