Rout Monyyong
Was it known before today that Rout Monyyong would not be with the Trojans next year? I just learned from this morning’s ADG that he will be playing professionally in Bulgaria next year, and not opting to use his additional year he could have had at Little Rock due to COVID. This might have been common knowledge and I’m just behind the curve. In any event, not good news for Little Rock.

I never heard anyone even suggest that Rout would be back this season. Would have been nice, but he needs to move on with his life and career.

Can’t blame the guy for wanting to go pro, but he might have been able to end his college career on a better note, and raise his stock to make more money. But the old saying of a bird in hand probably applied.

Not sure how much more he could have done here. He has a chance to "raise his stock" while making money. Don't know anything about basketball in Bulgaria, but if he does really well someone from a higher level league will find him. In today's interconnected world, there really are few, if any, secrets.
Only heard positive things about Rout and I certainly wish him well. I am a little pissed about Ben Coupet, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he had a good reason to transfer. In this new era, I'll just give myself a lot of heartburn if I get upset over every player that transfers from LR.
