Look if you're going to drop from FBS to FCS - you might as well go with the best. Best of luck to him.

NDSU is FCS. NDSU, as you know, could beat many if not most G5 schools. They are good and have been good for many years.

Hope he has the $ to come back to Detroit to see his family.

Playing close to home isn't for everyone - maybe the space and fresh air will do him good. Fargo is a sneaky cool town too.

My youngest daughter and her husband live in Fargo. They seem to like it. It seems,a nice area-in summer.

Fargo is a great city for it's size! Very nice downtown, really good restaurants, low unemployment, good quality of life! Worked that territory for 6 years! Grand Forks is also very nice! You should definitely go and visit! Theodore Roosevelt National Park is magnificent! Back to sports!

Any EMU players reading this: The weather in D.C. isn't bad in winter. Not saying but it is warmer than Buffalo and Fargo.

Spent an entire winter in Winnipeg and Toronto. Winnipeg makes Fargo look tropical. My daughter's husband just graduated from ND St this spring.

As season practices begin in a few days, I think Randall is the only player not on the roster yet.

I've mentioned to my wife we're retiring to Bikini Bottom.
