I have long been intrigued by the idea of a national Magnolia Conference. I would do something like this:

Boston College
Duke
Miami
Northwestern
Notre Dame
Stanford
UCLA
USC
Wake Forest
Vanderbilt

If I could add two more, I would go with Georgetown and Tulane. That would be a really strong academically-led, athletically-strong, national conference.

Yep, although truth be told I really like all those programs. Particularly Missouri, as we play them every year and have had some great games. But the two newcomers had to go, I enjoy Oxford better than Starkville, and we had an annual game with Arkansas for years so I thought that would be cool to revisit.

With Maryland and Virginia already there to cover Washington DC, you would add more value with Villanova than with Georgetown.

I was trying to split 5 western and 5 eastern. If not I would have went Florida St. over Ok St. and for sure over Tenn.
