Thanks for the info. I did not realize Lamar had such a big house.

Can anyone explain to why there are not retractable bleachers on both sides of the court? The court seems unfinished that way. Obviously SHSU's arena could be 1000-seats or more greater in capacity.

We use that side for the player benches and an elevated platform for miscellaneous staff members/press/etc. to use like this

I would assume we have the worst facility out of the teams coming in.

The three largest crowds in the Montange Center are 10010, 9467 and 9432. The 9432 was for the women's NCAA 2nd round game against LSU in 1991. The first two were both against McNeese in the late 80"s

That is one weird arena with all of the doors at the back of that big empty space where the prime courtside seating would be. I don't know if it was designed that way, but I've never seen anything like it.

They pay the student leaders. They give them some sort of discount on housing or at the bookstore.

Here is the Havoc Home Site (https://havocs.gcu.edu/). It tells you their Mission Statement and who were the 2020-21 leaders.

So it’s kinda like Tarleton paying the Purple Poo or the Plowboys?

Seems like it would be more of an honored position if it was somehow earned.
