Very strange. What are they trying to do, pressure other schools to come in with legit offers? Seems to me that sort of stuff would tick off a coach and make it so they would never get an offer from them.

Monarx, this reminds me of the time our friend Jay was driving for Uber and he was taking a high scoring kid from Virginia Beach that many on the board were talking about over to ODU to see coach Jones. I can’t remember his name but Jay put him on the phone with me and the kid flat out told me he was gonna play for the Monarchs. It never happened….

If we land him, he better be good. The first Brandon “mad dog” Johnson Monarch was on some pretty special teams.

Googled and he transferred to DePaul back in May. Assume that's the same guy?

He says he got the offer on the 13th. He also has picked up an offer from UTEP and Radford recently.
