Tailgating at The new home
Has anyone discussed what tailgating at the new stadium will look like? It would be great if they could get Bruno Event team to handle it to make sure it runs smooth the first few home games.

Also, what about transportation options from campus to the stadium. I’ve also been a big fan of light rail, and this would be a perfect place for it, connecting campus and the BJCC entertainment area.

There will be buses running from campus. They drop on the Uptown side, at the plaza by the student section.

I don’t think it will be this year but the greenway will be an incredible tailgate spot.

https://citywalkbham.com/

I am sure there will be announcements to come but there will be a premium tailgate area like at legion as well.

I’m sure once the greenway is complete for the 2022 season, should be an amazing place to tailgate.

Seeing all the work in downtown, makes me want to live in downtown.

How you gonna tailgate on the greenway when your actual tailgate (car) is blocks away? You gonna schlep all your grub to the greenway?

Shrug. So? If that's where you're setting up a tent, you pull up and unload your stuff, then go park your car where ever. We used to do that at the BT tailgate at LF all the time.

We bought a parking pass in the deck where the Blazertalk tailgate is.

We bought in the deck area behind the Westin under "loyalty." I'm *assuming* that its either an adjacent deck or a level. Based on the pictures in the protective stadium flyer and on Google maps, it's not intuitive.

Should be right. If it's not, we'll be wrong together.

It is confusing by the parking map. The rooftop tailgate is just the top level of the deck with loyalty parking. Not sure if we’ll have free reign of the deck for loyalty parking, or just an assigned level(s).

The slots for tailgating are assigned; we bought 3 groups of 3 slots, adjoining and/across from each other on the northeast corner of the rooftop.

I got my spot in the deck as well. It's a good point about the elevators. Those could be slow going especially if capacity is limited. Definitely something to consider in plotting our our gameday timelines.
