Knights will at least not have as loud a crowd for Game 3 in Montreal. Need to get one back, eh?

Poor Fleury. A bad time for such a big mistake. Less than two inutes to the win.

Vegas played that game to the hilt, they dominated, but the Habs had luck and a few chances thay made the most of. My goodness, Suzuki and Danault were stellar on defense for the Habs. Their forwards play was absolute $#!t, but Price and their defense held off repeated charges and attempts by Vegas. Weber was also in on a lot of the defensive-zone action for Montreal.

Vegas didn't have that killer edge, and Price was unbelievable: 43 saves....43! Vegas needs to take it to another level. Only good news is Lightning and Isles are tied, so both winners will have to earn their way to the Finals.

Golden Knights stepped up after an excruciating loss of a win in Gme 3, to take Game 4 in Montreal. Gutsy performance.

Both series now tied 2-2. So both are niow best of three series.

It's been a heckuva stanley cup playoffs. And remember...these guys do all this wearing skates and skating back wrads, no sneakers around. They are truly among the most tough and amazing athletes in team sports!

Sure did. An 8-0 thrashing of the Isles. Only one game, but a statement, nonetheless.

Meanwhile, Vegas looked like they were lollygagging around in the pre-period skate times instead of playing an actual game. Back home on the Strip, they looked like they almost didn't care, back on their heels most of the time.

Gotta hand it to Montreal, as they came out aggressive and with an absolutely stifling defense, where it seemed almost every time Vegas got past the offensive Blue Line, they lost the handle. Vegas had like 8 shots on goal going into late 2nd period. After more than 40 in previous game, it was amazing to see.

Only silver lining for the Golden Knights, is that they have actually played a bit better in Montreal, almost winning both games before, uh, Fleury's ift to the habs with about a minute and a half in game 3. Well, does DeBoer start Lehner again, or stick withfleury? If they don't win game 6, he'll be hearing about it either way.

Would hate to lost to the Habs, but they've ben playing extremely well this playoffs, and I don't think Vegas has scored one Power Play goal on them so far this series. Amazing.

well, crap, Vegas couldn't get over the hump again this year.
Montreal was amazing on the power play in particular and defense in general in this series, and indeed, so far in their playoff run.

Caufield is a heckuva little engine of a player. When he got the puck heading towrds the offensive zone, he truned it up to 11 and skated past the Vegas defense for his scores.

Price was an absolute wall this series. Have to respect his abilities. Not too many rebounds when there was a shot. He's a keeper, for sure.

I don;t blame Deboer for switching to Lehner this game, and Robin did a pretty good job, considering his defenders weren't quite up to the same level as Montreal's were. Fleury had another amazing season and playoffs as well. I think the two tough series that vegas had with both Minnesota and then Colorado just took too much out of them this time. Montreal was much fresher and quicker all the way around.

With Tampa having a tough series against New York to get to their side of the Finals, it will be quite a series to see if Montreal can put a capper on over the champs.

As for Vegas, they have some tough questions to ask themselves about their offensive lines scoring in the offseason. Have to believe this time Fleury will be traded to open up some cap space, but navigating their situation, along with the Kracken expansion draft ramifications, will make this a more interesting offseason than usual.

Overall, I really enjoyed following the Vegas hockey team and the players who I have gron to appreciate and become familiar with in just their four short years of existence. Things will get hot in the desrt, then quickly cool back down this fall for another run at the Cup. Will be interested to ee exactly how their changes and strategy shakes out.

Now, may the best team left win the Stanley Cup! I think I'll be rooting for Montreal since I'm a bit more familiar with them after this tough series, and they are a fun, talented team to watch play the game.

And we are just one game from the Pat Maroon dynasty taking hold. I was rooting for the Habs but the Lightning are just too much, barring something miraculous. Too bad for the Islanders, they lose game seven by a hair when they would've probably been able to go towards a cup as well.

A little surprised about how the Habs look in this series. Maybe too much of a hnagover from beating Vegas at home and celebrating? I certainly thought they'd give Tampa more problems in these games. Looks pretty inevitable now.

Glad to see there will be a Game 5. I'm cheering for Montreal but very pessimistic.

I think this year especially shows timing and your draw means a lot when there are this many rounds of playoffs. Tampa Bay should handle it.
