Pretty sure it’s Quian Williams. He was fantastic in 2019 and honestly got robbed by not making an All-MAC team. Last season he didn’t produce as much, but it wasn’t all on him by any means. He’s a talented vertical threat, and I was very bummed that he decided to transfer. If he ends up with you guys, you won’t be disappointed.

Amen! Drummond made the third team while Q had a more productive season and that left me scratching my head. I think his transfer decision was clearly the most consequential of those that did, Q unlike Grissom, had a proven track record of accomplishments. Also he was the kick returner and while Coach prefers the fair catch which limits a player's chance to excel, it does indicate that he trusted Q most to handle the catch and also respected his potential return ability. He will be a GREAT addition to wherever he goes.

First and foremost this's a fun board/group to discuss E Michigan sports, and to insult someone speaks volumes about your character as a person! To say I'm embarrassing and thankless to a group of people is ridiculous, especially for someone you don't know, or have ever met! So, please as an adult don't act like a child..........I want CC to simply win at E Michigan, as does everyone else on this board!

I feel like you’ve been looking at your watch and pointing CC towards the door for the last several seasons. GloryDays has a 'pie in the sky' attitude which some disagree. That said, I'm 100% behind CC and it is pretty much unconditional regardless of Ws / Ls. Unless he goes 3 - 9 or 4 - 8, I'm not going to b*tch and call for his scalp.

I appreciate the apology! Yes, the program has turned in the upward trajectory, but since 2018 when we went 7-6, it has slightly tilted the wrong way! We went 6-7, and 2-4, and the defense hasn't been very good! Yes, CC has done numerous good things, graduation rates, improved facilities, a competitive team, but by year 8, and with this current schedule, we need to compete for the MAC championship, and win 8 plus games! Every MAC team has won 8 games or more this past decade.........except E Michigan! Does CC get a decade to do this, or is 6-6, and 4-4 the dream season????? Some people might be fine with that.........That's my entire point!

Okay. Each have had his say. Can we get back to transfers. Want to avoid a hijack. CC has been discussed in other threads.

I assume, don't know, but as '79 has speculated, maybe we aren't done with transfers. The D still needs some help at DL and LB.

This is wild to me that he is only getting FCS offers. What dont we know. I was so high on this dude and thought he would be transferring to a P5. Crazy how this has played out given his talent level.

I'm tossing this here as an FYI. I'm assuming that starting June 1 a number of players in the transfer portal may take visits and commit after their visits. Now 'visits' are done via Zoom. In say 10 days, that visit can be live and if I were a player I'd wait the 10 days and take the live visit. I'd want to go to the SAPC, the main campus, Gallup Park, Ann Arbor, etc.

The Division 1 Basketball Regular Signing Period, originally scheduled between April 14-May 19, 2021 was extended until August 1, 2021
The Division 1 Football Regular Signing Period, originally scheduled between February 3-April 1, 2021 was also extended until August 1, 2021
The Regular Signing Period for all other D1/D2 sports has not changed, and ends on August 1

If you (JMU) can get Jalen and Q. Williams, that is HUGE. Jalen is good, but I thought Quian was going to be the WR #1 for a very good offense at EMU. Would likely end up being 1st or 2nd team All-MAC. Not sure what happened at EMU....It's weird he would leave with the firepower we have coming back and a chance to put his work on film against Wisconsin in 2021 and Arizona State in 2022. Strange "trades" this year with Jalen, Q and your RB that came to EMU. All the more reason I love college football and all its madness

Why I like it. It gives recruits by date they presumably joined the portal, their eligibility status, and years left to play. About the only thing missing is hometown.

And as I'm fond of saying, any teams with available scholarships are sitting in the catbird seat. Players transferring in JUNE. How many offers will they get??

I wonder how sophisticated the teams are at 'automating' their recruiting functions? Can they query a database for names to see if they are in our database of players recruited in the past? or query for players from MI, OH, IL, etc.

Yeah, Nawrot is my sleeper candidate to make an impression. He was 1st team all-conference that St. Francis plays in as a frosh.
