RE: Desi to asu
I was thinking ASU would win the league before this announcement. ULL has brought in some awesome transfers and they are always tough regardless. Wish I knew exactly what we are adding.

ULL is loaded. They have four, 4 stars if they all make it to campus.

We don't know what asu's 2 seniors will do as far as covid season goes, but, according to verbal commits Desi is the only new player coming in and balado has offered only 1 scholarship to a HS senior. asu was 11-13 and 7-8 in SBC play. I would say balado is foolish standing pat on the roster he had last season.

Hard to say from our prospective. He knows more about his current players potential than we fans do, and with the expanded roster numbers allowed next year, he might be making a wise call. Of course, only time and competition will give the answer!

That article beat me to what i was going to post. Omier is the best young player in the league by far. Eaton is a very solid guard who will be all-league as a 5th year senior. ASU was going to be much better simply due to the fact that they kept what was a pretty good team together unlike us and many other Belt teams. Now they have added a solid SEC level player. I think they will be awfully good next season.

Now we know both seniors, most notably Eaton, are staying. Only Holland is leaving. That does change the outlook a bit. But balado is still the coach.

Everybody seems to think Balado can't coach. I don't necessarily agree, but really don't know for sure. I think ASU will be very salty this season. If they are not, I will likely join the "Balado can't coach" club.
