Now all we need is a big banner to hang on the front edge of the upper deck over 125: "Club 125, Home of the Vocal Few".

Heheh.

I would imagine it’s pretty much over at this point. I had a duplicate account I didn’t know existed and it was supposed to pick at 2:24 PM today.

Any new purchases between 4/1 & 5/15 get to pick next week. Currently, that’s 132 new ticket accounts. After 5/21, everyone will be able to view what’s available.

Birmingham is a notorious “walk-up” city. I imagine we won’t see the map as full as we’d like but still have 80% capacity or more for most home games (w/ Liberty being packed of course)

When did they let them go? I thought they were still in Bartow 03-wink

One must remember that for 30 years a person could buy a General admission ticket - or wait for a free promotional ticket - and sit near the 50 yard line at most Blazer games at Legion Field. It may take a season or two to break that bad habit, and to convince casual fans they have to buy reserved seat tickets like they must for nearly all other stadiums. The days of "squatter's rights" to the best seats should be over.

Does that mean we never need speak of seat certificates ever again?!?!

They died out but their descendants still inhabit the sewers and ducts under Bartow living off rats and insects

I am delighted to see them go since they caused so much damage to the city's football heritage. I believe they cost us any real chance at NFL football, made it financially necessary to move Bama games to campus (after TIDE PRIDE was set up in the 1980s), and almost took UAB football away as well. If UAB had not decided to play football since 1990, who exactly would have used Legion Field for football the past three decades?

I hope the city is successful in bringing in other games but right now, the list is short -- one or two at the most.

I’m guessing there’s no way to seat what seats are left now?

So, basically, no different than if they were living in Memphis?

I'm seeing a bit of activity in sections 124,125,126 this morning. Beginning of seat installation...maybe?

RE: Club 125
On the East side, sections 124,125 & 126 are chairback seats, the rest are bench seating.

On the West side, sections 101,102 & 103 are chairback seats, the rest are bench seating.

Did anyone ever find a way to see the available seats? Or does anyone have an update on how it’s going

Based on model and seat selection process, c101, 102, and 103 became 3 whole sections rather than 101 and 103 being half sections which eliminated a numbered section (147. That made center east sections 124, 125, and 126 and those three are chair back based on what I've seen.
