Another Little Rock transfer
Raekwon Rogers (6'8" 230) transferred from Henderson State to Wagner of the Northeast Conference. He averaged 14.5 points and 8 rebounds at Henderson State. Appears to be a graduate transfer, but I'm not sure. He played high school ball at Little Rock Central. No idea if we would have been interested in this kid. The Northeast Conference is certainly not as good as the Sun Belt although Wagner did finish in first place. Rogers also apparently was offered by Ball State according to Verbal Commits. Just interesting to see another Little Rock kid end up at a DI school.

RE: Another Little Rock transfer
Ha I literally grew up with the guy! His younger brother was one of my best friends in school. He's very athletic and was a solid scorer and rebounder when he was at Central. Knowing him, I could've see him coming back home given that most of his family is still in the city. Definitely would've been a solid player for us in my opinion. Too bad he's going to Wagner.

Thanks for the personal input. One of the reasons I posted this was that I thought someone may have had some info about this young man. Didn't expect someone to have a personal connection with him. Sounds like he would have been a nice get for us.
