We now have two Coach Dom's at the helms of the ODU Tennis Teams. Lol.

Women just won 4-1 against Fau. Going to the championship to play FIU. I know we mostly are just football and basketball, with baseball sprinkled in but our other sports really be killing it a lot.

The men are going to the finals too. That makes 3 teams this week that have or will play in a conference final.

Is that normal in college tennis? I don't think I've seen any sport, excluding basketball where it just doesn't happen, where every ranked team in one round shuts out the opposing school. Like the rank teams in tennis are really that above and beyond?

Think it’s more common in the individual sports like tennis, golf, cross country and gymnastics where the teams are smaller and dominant programs can hoard a lot of talent.

Indeed, our ladies were just shut out. Still a great year for them.

The first team to four match wins ends the match. The other three matches are stopped at that point and not completed. This only applies in team competition.
