Think of this guy and some of the others in this thread as one person with multiple personalities, because some of them are. Then you don't need to care or react to what they say. lol.

It happens here, you know. Not that there's anything wrong with that. But one bored guy will stir things up with one of his aliases, and then he'll converse or argue with himself....

He might even bring in another of his aliases to support one side or the other.
just saying.

Now....Back to Kenny Gainwell! Congratulations Kenny! Fly like an Eagle!

I need to get me an alias, that sounds like fun, fighting with yourself, or covering my back when I need it. I don't know, in retrospect I might get to drinking an forget who I am. 03-lmfao

Kenneth did ok, but making a team as a 5th rounder is a toss up at best. Not playing may have cost him a couple of rounds. Coxie may have messed up. Not playing may have cost him a chance at an NFL career

Some people on here seem to be really shocked when someone has an opinion different than their own. Very bizarre that you might find differing opinions on a message board.

You actually think that every opinion on here comes from a separate person ...? Naïveté at its finest.

I have lived in a town with many differing opinions for decades--everything from the hardcore logger
mentality to the belief there's an ATlantean city in full swing under Mt Shasta, not to mention the multiple variations between these two factions of thought. Opinions don't bothah me none...nor do aliases. Boredom is a driving force these days.

But it's just another unimportant fact of life that people tend to think their hard core belief/religion counts more than someone else's. whatevs. lol Pushback on any opinions should be expected.

Frankly I don't care. It's a message board not a professional counseling session.

Other than Gainwell odds are vey low for anyone in the draft. Williams is listed as the 6-7 rated punter and the draft does not go that deep for punters. He will likely get a camp invitation.

When I said punt kicker I was referring to riley patterson just using wilbur's old posting for it. I think riley gets picked up in 6th round and agree about williams

I wonder what ever happened to Wilbur? I miss his keen insight into football strategy.

I heard that he and that TIPWAL dude ran off together and got married.

That guy must have been in prison a very long time. Wilbur has a face that would scare off a Sasquatch.

Great! I hope he gets a fair shot to make the roster there, or at least show enough so someone else grabs him if they need a kicker.

Sounds like there will be wide open competition for the starting job. The opportunity is there.

Dan Bailey had a rather disappointing season for the Vikings in 2020.

Job is wide open.

I’ve wasted enough of my life with 14,000 posts on this board. I have no time to post more under a different alias. Granted, some here have more posts than me and have an alias. Whose alias are you?

Which is understandable and fine. Just not surprising that it caused NFL teams to question him and turn a 2nd-3rd round pick into a 5th (maybe) round pick.

2nd Round. Bull. He was always a 3-5 by most every assessment by legit professionals. Now I see why you’re disappointed. And 3rd was always if the right team at the right time didn’t have a higher priority.

I agree 2nd round was best case scenario, but 3rd wasn’t unrealistic. Kenny is in the NFL and a millionaire. I’m so happy for him. I’m only saying he could have had a million or so more if he played last year. But there is always the risk of injury or being a bust. It’s like playing deal or no deal. Kenny had either the million dollar case or the one dollar case. He walked with 500k rather than playing and finding out.

Or his stock could have fell running behind a line that wasn't opening as many holes as it did the year before.

You’re probably closer to the truth than the rest of the theories

RE: NFL Draft - Memphis Tigers
He didn't leave to play for another school, he left because he was grieving. He clearly stated that his reason for opting out was because of the deaths in his family. If he didn't like it at Memphis, he would have gone to another school. If he was so set on the draft, he would have declared at the end of the season or maybe even sat out the bowl game. He didn't do either of those things.

He for sure wouldn't have done all of the hard and often boring work all winter, then through the summer and then opted out right before the season started. The season is the fun part. Why are people still second guessing him?
