Yeah...They screwed that one up...That data is wrong.

No way a player has that much of a positive +/- on a per possession basis and plays more than half the game and that team loses.

the data is correct, hoop lens is a legtimate site..it is regularly referenced by major college basketball sites... its like saying kenpom inputed the wrong data

and if i was betting man the game of houston vs memphis has similar data from when deandre was in and when he was out

If those numbers are right someone searched out that game to find a singular anomaly to tell a story that is not valid...Maybe that is why the game is from 2019.

And no the Memphis Houston numbers were no where near that.

.4 difference offense and Defense per possession...

Not a full point difference on defense like in this game.

Now you see those numbers....

Looks like they were just blowing people out.

Hence the staring lineup being +34 in 75 possessions....That is 46 per 100 possessions. So yeah.

not really... cincy was was 6-4 the 1st 10 games of the 19-20 season..2 of their wins were OT wins another was a 1 point win

the picture being painted is that cincy's starting lineup was really good, especially when Williams was in defensively ...and their backup line up was not

ive noted this before...Keith Williams was really good on defense...he was cincys' lead defender for 3 straight years ..including their 28 win season...instead of trying to find out when the stats are wrong, maybe just believe the stats that he was a major impact on defense ..

threemanweave (one of the biggest college basketball blogs) notes how he was one of the most underrated players in the nation because of his impact on defense..

That’s the plan. Hopefully we can add one more big to backup up Clark and Anei. If so, I like our chances to do damage in the NCAA tournament.

I just don’t see how Jank can screw this up. That is a really good roster.

Davis
Bandoumel
The Weathers Brothers
Anei
Nutall
Clark

That is a really good 7 man rotation right there. And not even accounting for any of the freshmen.

Jank smiles, hands off beer, rolls up sleeves. Creates ooc schedule of only home gameswith 335 ranking. Carefully checks schedule and picks two best back to back games to lose for no conceivable reason. Looks at joprior big smile.

smu needs anei and clarke to stay healthy, and the weathers brothers need waivers

you dont need him to be a star.. he was doing 14 and 7 at baylor on a super elite baylor.. even 8 and 5 at smu would be a major win..

RE: Transfer Portal Speculation, Rumors & Pipe Dreams Thread
.

More Cincinnati developments:

1) Tari Eason completed the transfer paperwork and appears unlikely to return to Cincy:

https://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/...0de66.html

2) Keith Williams announced that he's hired an agent and plans to enter the NBA draft.

3) UConn men’s basketball strength coach Mike Rehfeldt leaves Huskies to return to Cincinnati.

"Rehfeldt spent eight seasons from 2012-2020 as the Bearcats’ strength and conditioning coach, earning a reputation as one of the best in the country."

https://www.theuconnblog.com/2021/5/1/22...cincinnati

.

Without Williams, and if Eason is completely out of the picture, the Bearcats might be a middle-of-the-pack AAC team in 2021-22 unless they can add a couple of solid contributors through the portal.

However, Rehfeldt's return should help to hasten the rebuilding process at Cincy, and the Bearcats seem to have the kind of coaching staff they will need to be an upper echelon AAC team within the next 2-3 years, if not sooner.

.
