That is a bizarre statement...

But saying Harris & Lawson are wayward is correct. Just because some here have chosen to attribute the most negative use of wayward is on them not me. As vocabulary.com says, "Someone wayward is a little stubborn and independent — they're determined to find their own way and are not easily controlled. Being wayward can mean a few things, but they all have something to do with doing your own thing — often, going against what others want you to do. A rebellious student is wayward." And this certainly accurately describes Harris & Lawson's.

But apparently in this day, the wok have no room for any views but their own.

There is plenty of room for your views. There is also plenty of room for everyone laughing at you and telling you that they don't make any sense. Why would any objective fan be dumb enough to say that he won't help us win games? He helped us win games as a freshmen 2 years ago.

That is a bizarre statement...

The only way a fan would be concerned about getting a former 4* recruit to walk on is if the fan doesn't believe that Penny can manage playing time on his roster.

I think Atlanta has made it abundantly clear that is how he feels with his Lomax crusade.

Boogie whom Atlanta thinks deserves all the minutes he could stand
Per 40 minutes:
17.4 Points
3.5 Reb
2.6 assists
38.6 From the 3

Tyler Harris who Atlanta thinks doesn't deserve a non-scholarship Roster spot:
Per 40 Minutes at Memphis
17.0 Points
3.5 Reb
1.6 Assists
36.4% from the 3

Now remember this is a Tyler Harris who will be two years older than when he achieved those stats.

It would be shocking if he posted anything that wasn't bizarre. Tyler had 19 points against Wichita State in an 8 point win, 12 points in an overtime win against Tulane. In that game, he made a 3 pointer with 14 seconds left that gave us the lead, then went 4-4 from the line in overtime. He had 15 points against Ole Piss in a 1 point win, 14 points against NC State (5-7 from the field, 3-3 from outside) in a 5 point win. He had 17 points against USF in a 4 point win, with 10 of them coming in the 2nd half to help erase a 14 point deficit. He had 10 points against #22 Houston in a 1 point win...all while playing for Memphis.

Atlanta's conclusion? Why would anyone objective think that Tyler will help Memphis win games? Then whine like a little baby when everyone clowns on him.

Tyler wanted/needed/felt compelled to come home any way possible. Tyler, btw, didn't want to leave.

RE: Tyler Harris is.....back?
Memphis/Penny knows who TH is at the D1 level. He has a good history of two years at Memphis and one at Iowa State with almost identical stats and minutes. When picking up a player like Harris you already know what you are getting, which is huge for Penny and Memphis. He plays his role - we are in desperate need of some knock down 3 guys that are situational. Harris has proven he can do this off the bench and in some games when he is hot he can take over. Not as a starter but as a key player off the bench in his role.

I do not see this as a give to get another player as much as knowing a need to have. We still need a PG and possibly another Big but if you can get consistent player w 3 skills it has to help. I'll leave the real details to why we need this type of player to those who have coached or played.

Good player to have in the game late when other team is fouling.

First comments are he'll be a walk on & a minor role player, now he'i provide major help to this team. Since when did the 9th option (at best assuming none of the incoming freshmen get minutes) on any team become a major contributor? And if you're saying he's higher than the 9th option, whose minutes is he going to get?
