When there are 13 roster spots, there's a role for everyone 03-lmfao

As long as I get my varsity letter. Chicks dig the jacket.

Didn't Brannen bring Vogt?

if Cronin wanted to bring some uc players with him to UCLA who the heck would he have selected? who's spot would they have taken on the Final Four team? Mick knew what he had and what he could recruit at UCLA.
He certainly didn't need bench warmers.

JC, Tre, Keith? I could see the loss of any of them to UCLA ruffling some feathers here.

I'm sure he was only interested in keeping Tre Scott if he had had the chance. Although I am surprised that he didn't take Trevor Moore with him as he was the best pure shooter that he'd ever seen.

No. I'm not. You made the "get over it" post and you refuse to take your own advice. Even now you respond with a false accusation rather than an acknowledgment.

I haven't told anybody to "get over it". My objection is to posters who insist upon inserting basically the same opinion (with no new info or insight) in thread after thread especially when it isn't the topic at hand and/or no prompting. Well, that and hypocrisy.

Let's all get off Billy's back. I'm sure he offers more than a mouth that makes him almost irresistibly punchable. For example, I could also see him taking some inadvertent charges when he couldn't move his leaden feet to get out of the way of contact fast enough.

Here’s some insight for you. Wes should get the benefit of the doubt with his roster selections until proven otherwise. Brannen ate up his goodwill when the team walked out on him, then other pieces started adding up. I gave Brannen the same objectivity when he was starting out and up until the point when the train clearly derailed.

If you want go above and beyond commenting on my barbed opinion on a message board, call me out, and single me out- fine. I just tend to “insert my same opinions” in a one line phrase, rather than multiple posts further rehashing my tired arguments which simply become boorish when it takes me more than 5 minutes to read them.07-coffee3

Agreed. But that does not make them above objective analysis and discussion.

Quote:Brannen ate up his goodwill when the team walked out on him, then other pieces started adding up. I gave Brannen the same objectivity when he was starting out and up until the point when the train clearly derailed.

So still not "over" Brannen? You sure make it easy to prove my point. But since You want to revisit this and have chosen to engage me, please note that you exaggerate about the team walking out. As far as multiple players choosing to leave as proof the train is permanently derailed, you may want to look at what happened with many players (7?) after Wes' 2nd year at UNCG and what he had to say about it. Let me know what you find or if you need help. It didn't make him a bad coach and he didn't get canned. We are all learning.

I don't know what this gibberish is about, but I did like your excellent figurative description in the Clifton Skyline thread. Here's some insight for you: You should do more like that. Debating me by re-proving my point isn't your forte.

Typical post longer than a country mile probably edited 50 times.

Whatever, man.

In the interest of everyone here, you can win.

But Brannen still sucks.04-chairshot

Hoping for some additional recruiting news over the weekend. I imagine Wes is working candidates on the transfer portal.

RE: Jarrett Hensley
I skimmed through this, so sorry if someone mentioned it already.

I think this is a good add, and it has nothing to do with the player. This guy was a pretty highly rated recruit for his previous school. Hell, he'd be a solid get here. He barely played last year, even being a high end recruit for the conference. Even after that, he still followed his coach to the next school. I think that says a lot about the coach. From what I've seen, if player isn't playing year one, typically they use the Rick Sanchez portal gun.

Edit: Looks like Mark mentioned it on the recruiting page. Sorry Mark!
