Now you're talkin' some sense!

Can’t find Skyline at your local grocery store? Here’s why
Cans are in short supply, but there’s always Skyline in the frozen aisle.

When in Rome I go for the pasta or pizza. Only been to Rome 3 times but never saw any Chili places.

Seriously I cannot eat at Goldstar. My first house we had a two families in the hood that were part of the Goldstar founders. One tried raising a lamb for slaughter on a half acre lot. Bad I idea which the zoning people made them remove in days. The second never understood the purpose of screens.

Rather trashy in a nice area.

Especially at 2:00 am. It's also the only one where you feel the chili in the air when you walk in.

This is true. I remember many a chilly autumn and winter night, walking down clifton ave, all the way to ludlow on a skyline run. Before you get to the door, you can see the windows are kinda foggy. Then you open that door, and the aroma and steam slap you right in the soul. It’s like a chili sauna...

I've been told there is such a demand for cans that the Minster Machine Company is dedicating all of their production the next two years solely to producing presses for making cans.

Love Cincinnati Chili. Skyline, Gold Star, Blue Ash, Camp Washington, Dixie, Chil CO. All a little different. All good.
Skyline at Clifton and Ludlow is one of the best if not the best Skyline. Quick in. Quick out. Always good.

If you can't find Skyline in the can, the pouches are available.
Just bought some at Kroger yesterday to take on vaca for my Nati expatriotated kids.
You can take the kids out of the Nati but not the Nati out of the kids.

RE: When In Rome...
That was a nice suck up attempt by the coach. Nice touch. I like it.

However, he could curse skyline and burn his bib in public for all I care if he gets us back in the top 25.

That said, skyline is the alpha and omega of Cincinnati chilis. When I go to the non-chain chili joints like Blue Ash, I'm getting me a big ol' double decker.

I don't know how gold star managed to muck it up, but they did.

That made me chuckle. They’re from Jordan. The lamb culling is a Mediterranean and middle eastern thing. My dad lived in Amman for several years for work and was walking down a street in the city one day and looks up and sees a Gold Star Chili and thought he was hallucinating and he walked in and had lunch and told them he was from Cincinnati and the owners were the relatives of the cincy gold star family and talked to him at length about Cincinnati.. They gave him free lunch there several times because he was from cincy.

There used to be a Gold Star Chili in the Piqua Mall. I would get it when I stopped there because any Cincinnati chili is better than no Cincinnati chili.

Raising lambs are fine but unless your land is zoned agriculture it is a no no in The US. The lambs where gone real fast.

When we had a larger 5 acre house we have a barn and a horse but the zoning allow horses. When in Rome.

I will eat Gold Star but it’s not my favorite. I like the others better. Skyline is my goto. My mother-in-law always fixes cans of Dixie when she makes conies.
