IMO it beats the crown logo. Certainly has better branding. The mouse-lion is kinda cute too.

Wonder if Under Armor will pay you for the rights to use this as an alternate uniform. Actually that would be a fun promotion....let kids submit a design for an alternate helmet logo. maybe the winning design(s) could get a helmet of their own to keep or something.

Auction the helmets off after the game with the funds going to CHKD. Could do this as part of the Oyster Bowl.

Did the Rice board get a cease and desist or something similar back when they had a graphic mimicking their university branding?

The current design looks good. Hyperbole aside, this is a message board with no official ties to the university. We got the special attention (inclusion in the initial rounds of polling, selection, drafts, and ultimately approval and implementation) because we're one of the most active boards and we cause relatively little trouble.

Me too. He also put more effort into creating it than when ODU put into making the Virginia logo. The just slapped our current lion logo in the state outline, where you can still see the top of some of the ODU lettering. Then people complain that the lion looks like a bear. GTS made a logo that looks like a lion and fits in the state. You can't please everyone lol

Woah bud, gonna need you to pump the breaks on this rollercoaster. If GTechFans interpretation is chaffing you that bad, then why not be productive and come to us with your interpretation? I'm sure, as someone who has spent time in Hampton Roads and have attended our great university, that your interpretation will totally be better and we'll be able to do a quick swap of branding once we get your logo.
