I, for one, am looking forward to seeing our QB battle, seeing if the transfers are as good as advertised and finally seeing our defense fully installed. While I have never put much faith in a Spring Game telling much about the team, there have been seasons when you left the game knowing that the next year would be special. Riley's second season, the offense scored two TDs in the first 3 minutes of the scrimmage. The ball didn't hit the ground during their first five drives and we only ran the ball twice.

YOU SAID POLITICAL!!!! I NEED A SAFE SPACE NOW!!!!

But, naw, dude, I here ya. I am ready to be excited about football again. It's almost like last year's season didn't exist. I am ready. But seriously, I am not going to play some stupid covid game to do it. We are outside. Leave us alone. Or I'm not going.

I frankly don't care what the hell you do outside, but for some of us Covid has never been a game. 3 deaths here. And for me, last season did NOT exist, because being in a crowd, even outside, was not safe. Carry on.

Get the vaccine. Problem solved.

hopefully we'll do like the Bills/Sabres and require vaccine cards to buy tickets.

You HOPE that happens? What in the hell has this country turned into...

By the time the season rolls around, most of the population will be vaccinated should they choose to be. Hopefully, the state of Tennessee won't try to emulate the type of idiots you see in New York and California. That would be idiotic.

We don't need no stinking vaccine cards in California. We can show proof of negativity. lol

Q: What are the COVID-19 testing requirements for attending a game at Oracle Park?
A: Fans need to bring proof of a negative COVID-19 test. Test results need to be received within 3 days of the first game you attend in a homestand. If you are attending multiple games in a homestand you will only need to have one test, but will need to bring the results with you to each game. The Giants strongly encourage fans to take a PCR-type test over a rapid antigen test.

Depends on what you call 'work'. They suspended use of J&J-- in Cali.

Federal health agencies paused the J&J vaccine Tuesday after six women, aged 18 to 48, developed a rare blood clot disorder 6 to 13 days after receiving the shot. One patient died.

Now they are telling people to be on the lookout for headaches, leg aches lethargy, shortness of breath etc...other symptoms if you got the J&J a month ago.

"Clearly the benefits outweigh the risk," says this boy Doc from Stanford

Won’t happen while you’re drinking your beer. Relax.

Actually happened to me as well, I guess the mask monitor thought I was trying to drag out the process but U actually was just caught up in the game and didn't take a sip for 2-3 minutes.

OK, that makes sense too...bring your vaccine card or negative test result if you want to purchase tickets. That'll give folks more options while the contrarians can watch on TV due to our great ESPN contract!

safety first.

The old SCHD likely would fall in-line with the proof required regime. I'm betting the new SCHD will align with state directives, and that state directives will not require proof.

Hilarious that they’re begging people to take the shot. My wife was required by her work to get it and she has been on my case about getting one. We may go to the game but I sure hope she doesn’t see the SCHD tent 03-lmfao

U Dudes have Ike very confused, ike thought he was gonna read about football and he's reading about vaccines
And carrying a card saying you've been vaccinated and the street is telling Ike the vaccine doesn't work.
Can someone splain to Ike why he needs to prove he's been vaccinated but,
Doesn't need to prove IKE's eligible to vote. Ike has a i.d. they could put a sticker on IKE's card saying
IKE's been vaccinated and Ike can vote.

For the game, you need to enter on Hollywood and proceed to gate/lot 4. Avoid the vax tent on Tiger Lane, and the dinosaurs at the Coliseum.

RE: Spring game details
Heard a discussion today on the radio around mid-day where somebody was telling a stated well respected doctor (Weirman?) about someone saying that there was no science to requiring wearing a mask as being preventive of any disease and they didn't trust the vaccine because it was developed too fast.

He said he was glad most people will eventually come around and the guy should thank those willing to wear masks and get the vaccine for his ability to be safe. First the science behind the development of the vaccine was the safest and passed the strictest of validation of any vaccine ever developed. Don't be fooled by the quicker development and release of our first two. It is recent discoveries and technology advancement that was able to make it happen. Our ability to catalog diseases and replicate the most meager of changes to variants is driven by technological advancements through the efforts of places like St Jude in Memphis (love we got a mention). He said how strange is it we celebrate medical advancement in almost all cases but suddenly politics gets thrown in and we hear individual rights says I don't have to get vaccinated. Maybe so but your emphasis on individual rights means you are asking others to make the world safe for you. (saw the use of coward earlier in the thread so it it a contrast the way this Dr. sees it). He said he was not necessarily advocating for a vaccine passport but how strange is it that if you get the vaccine and you get a card that shows you had it why would you manufacture reasons to not show it for the safety of others. To me (he said) it is another way of limited the ability of society to move forward when people choose to place their rights above the many. Yes here have been some bumps with the one shot doses. There have even been some deaths but even the one dose vaccine which was billed as less effective but still viable has had problems well below the typical vaccine for most diseases. They are investigating to see if it is an identifiable correlation and it will be corrected if so. He also said that politics had no bearing on how quickly scientist responded. IN fact thy were already working on millions of variants of many diseases so they are ready to respond to anything that comes out of 4-5 hotspots for generating pandemics. Covid wasn't the first and it won't be the last but we are getting better at identifying and attacking even the worst of threats. He did compliment President Trump for begging conversations with the pharm industry for responding to manufacturing and distributing. He just didn't finish the job before he left office for the next administration to take credit. A true missed opportunity.

Sure there are poorly constructed masks that are worthless but over all what we have seen is the common cold occurrences are significantly lower. Allergy occurrences are significantly lower. The Flu season was one of the lowest eve since we began recording. Sanitation, distancing and masks have proven throughout history to be deterrents for air or blood borne disease/pathogens. You have to go back to the dark ages to find much support for masks don't do any good arguments. The next segment was going to be on new cancer treatments.

I couldn't remain to hear the rest and I don't know where the guy was from. I won't argue with anyone on this. I'm just sharing so say what you will. Hope I did the good Dr. Justice in summarizing the interview.
