Jayden Gardner at Virginia...Seems like a perfect fit.

Caleb Mills being ranked as low as he is seems insane.

I say we break even as far as rankings go not counting Baugh...

I think DJ comes the rankings around Boogie.

RE: CBS Top 40 Committed Transfers
Thanks

Not looking at position, and of course that is important

We lost the 19th ranked transfer
Brought in the 8th ranked one
In a vacuum, advantage Memphis

We brought in number 36
Jeffries probably will be a little ahead of that

But is we get the ISU kid, and of course we may not, it is a net improvement nit factoring in the intangibles

How about Myreon Jones, former Tubby recruit being the #4 transfer. Interesting.

It must be bittersweet to see your former recruits blossom from afar. Think how Moe Iba must have felt.

Penny knows how to pick them.. they did a very good scouting report.. Now, let’s hope he brings Rasir Bolton from Iowa St.

i like Rasir, but wouldn't that leave us with two seniors at the point and no experienced back-up? i personally would rather bring in a freshman or sophomore transfer who can step in the year after... otherwise it will be back to the transfer portal again next year...

but i guess that's the new normal

We can always bring in another senior transfer the next year.

This year was a freebie. Lomax and Bolton could still play two years if they want.

Hopefully the 2022 kid recommits and we also have the local kid coming in in 2022.

And Lomax is Essentially a Junior next year.

RE: CBS Top 40 Committed Transfers
What is it, 1400 kids in the transfer portal? All looking for more minutes to help them play pro ball. And less that 2% of D1 players will actually be making a living playing basketball. Yet everyone one of these kids who enter the portal lose their scholarship unless they hook on somewhere. Most of these kids are ruining their lives trading a degree for that small chance of playing pro. .

Every metric points to Warren getting at least 20 minutes per game, being in our top 5 scorers at between 8-12 points per game, with his shooting percentages staying in the same range as they were at Hampton.

wouldn't shock me that he'd be part of the closing five...he can pass and defend

Davion Warren
Lester
Nolley
Timberlake
DeAndre
