Just as a sidebar, I gave WAY more money when Laing was AD (as I was single) and he never cared to say more than 5 words to me. Joel was always nice as hell to me. Whatever that says, you can decide.

For the record I had a similar experience. I realize talking to someone and working for someone can be quite different but it’s my only personal datapoint.
