My second shot is on April 7th too. Did you feel fatigued?
My sister had her second Pfizer shot a few weeks ago. First one just minor arm pain. Second one knocked her down for 2 days with overwhelming fatigue.
I've felt a little fatigued since I got the first shot. I've had a nap almost every day. Nothing alarming, but I just don't have much energy.

She is still feeling a bit that way, but after her 2nd shot, not the first.

In sum:
1. Pfizer shots have 91.5% efficacy after six months. They will continue the study for two years.
2. The vaccine is 95% to 100% effective against serious illness (depending on definition of "serious").
3. The vaccine is only slightly less effective against the South African variant.
4. There are no serious safety issues to date.
Bloomberg reports on 4/1/21 the Pfizer vaccine works with even the very old (80 to 96 years) against the Brazil variant (although less robust) in real world conditions. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/...in-elderly

The vaccine has shown preliminary signs of protecting against new strains
https://www.wsj.com/articles/covid-19-va..._lead_pos6
Summary:
Initial study results for the protein based vaccine should be available around mid-summer.
The Army will team with a drug company if results are favorable.
There are dozens of doses in development with the aim of improving the existing vaccines. They could be used like a booster sot.

Well, tomorrow is my second shot. I'm starting to wonder if I actually got covid while I was in line at the Cashman Center in LV.
My appointment was at 12:30 and I got home at 3:00. The line wrapped around our old AAA baseball stadium with thousands of people. Seems like a crazy way to get a vaccine shot exposing yourself to that many people.
I've always been sensitive to medications and maybe that's all it is. I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. Like your sister, everyone I've talked to that got the second shot, got sick from it.

Wow, that's a crazy way to get a vaccine. I got mine at a county health department. You had to park in a certain section, then remain in your car until they came out and took your temp. Then when someone left, they called you in one at a time.

Got my first shot on April 1st. Moderna. Most painless shot I've ever received. My arm was sore for about 3 days though. Other than the sore shoulder I've felt perfectly fine. Hopefully get my second shot sometime near the end of April

Had first Pfizer shot a week ago. Extremely mild soreness in my arm for about half a day. It was only noticeable if I raised my arm up. Expecting the second shot to have a bit more kick.

RE: A thread to share positive news about Covid-19 Rx and vaccine developments
My wife and I received our 2nd Pfizer dose Monday. We experienced mild symptoms the first 24 hours (e.g., arm soreness, fatigue, muscle aches), but we maintained our daily activities and exercised lightly. On Wednesday, we had no symptoms.
According to the CDC, most people will not have any symptoms except arm pain, fatigue, and headaches after the 2nd shot and the symptoms experienced are mainly mild. Also, the symptom incident and severity level tend to lessen with age. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/in...icity.html

Got my second shot on 4-7. Slight arm pain, fatigued yesterday. Maybe a slight fever, but nothing to talk about. I'm tying to keep myself well hydrated.

My first shot was like yours. Just got my second shot and the shot itself stung for an instant when I was getting it. Minor soreness. I'd say the second shot made my arm slightly more sore than the first one. Nothing to worry about though. Both shots were in my left arm. I'm a righty.

Caronavirus immunity by vaccines may last years, maybe decades according to this study.
Good find, thanks. The article is behind a paywall, but the study pertains to recovered patients. The inference is the immunity gained by vaccination will also last a long time.
