Trouble is while my mom says Kansas would be lucky to have me, my wife says Point Park.

Excellent read ...

The coaches are starting to see the modern world of college basketball and leave ... wait until THE FANS at Duke, Kentucky, North Carolina, Syracuse and others start to see it play out REGULARLY with their own rosters.

They will soon learn 'team chemistry' is not instant or have much longevity and the mix of 'talent' with 'chemistry' can be volatile both when blended for good like a stick of dynamite ... or when it becomes a witches brew and blows up in everyones collective face.

Games and teams like UCLA-Gonzaga keep us loving the sport ... transfers and the loss of coaches like Williams is why we often dislike it.

Agree, Cleveland. Of course, little was said about the changing landscape until the likes of NC, Duke, Kansas and Kentucky started complaining. Jeeze, when I was younger I knew SEVERAL guys who went to a school and stuck it out four years even though they almost never got any playing time. I'm thinking in particular of one HS stud running back who went to OSU (back before scholarship limits) back when Woody scarfed up all the local "football heroes". He stayed on the team and graduated and became a successful businessman and I'm not sure he EVER got in a game. I'm not suggesting kids be THAT loyal, but I think kids should solicit lots of advice from trusted people in the know before thinking about transferring.

My daughter (KSU freshman) filled out an extensive survey yesterday from Kent about her experience this year and I realized, by a lot of the questions, how hard it has been to have anything resembling a normal college experience this year because of the pandemic and restrictions. On her dorm floor, the vast majority of the room were set up for doubles and only had one person in them. I expect that Kent, as a whole, is worried about massive attrition. This may be driving the number of student-athletes looking to transfer as well as they aren't very connected to the school.

Good point. One thing that has suffered during this pandemic is customer service. People understand but that does not mean it has no future effect. For example I ask myself why has Starbucks refused to allow customers to sit inside while almost every other coffee shop does. I sense they prefer a take out only model and are taking advantage of the pandemic to test it out. Same with certain restaurants, doctors offices, etc. I’m pretty sure it will effect my future purchases when this is all over.

Hopefully, Stony Brook has the major in which AR wants to get his degree.

This seems to have turned into the main men's basketball thread, so here's this from Hustle Belt:

CMU has announced a "change in leadership" in men's basketball, parting ways with head coach Keno Davis after nine seasons at the helm.

More information coming soon.

Bo Boroski reffing the national championship game? College basketball has hit a new low. Any bets on if there will be any controversial calls or reviews?
