They lost me for this season minimum.

More time to get outside & watch old movies.

RE: MLB Blew a Raspberry
Another stupid own-goal by the nutter pro sports cartels.

one, they pretty clearly don't know the vast majority of their audience, either in person or on the telly.

Two, they clearly didn't read the damn bill, just succumbed to the obnoxious, loud-mouthed mob on the cesspool twittersphere.

Nothing in that law that isn't already in place in woke Va., Califa or many other states.

Stupid move.

I thought during the off-season they had announced the Indians are changing their name effective this season, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

I suspect the Braves/Blackhawks/Chiefs are all on the chopping block w/in the next few years.

I suppose I probably did watch a MLB All-Star Game at some point in my life, but I swear I can’t remember when. I know it’s been at least 20 years, prob. 30 years

I've watched it a few times. I was one of the few who liked NBA & MLB All-Star games
Pro Bowl was always dumb tho.

Now I don't like all 3 & all 3 leagues lost me for their regular season & playoff games too.

RE: MLB Blew a Raspberry
Quote:The Atlanta Braves ripped Major League Baseball’s decision to move the 2021 all-star game out of Atlanta over Georgia’s election reforms.

The Braves released a statement on Friday shortly after the MLB announced its decision to move the game. The league has faced pressure in recent days from the players’ union as well as the White House to consider moving the game in protest of the reforms signed into law last week.

“The Atlanta Braves are deeply disappointed by the decision of Major League Baseball to move its’ (sic) 2021 All Star Game,” the Braves organization said.”This was neither our decision, nor our recommendation and we are saddened that fans will not be able to see this event in our city. The Braves organization will continue to stress the importance of equal voting opportunities and we had hoped our city could use this event as a platform to enhance the discussion. Our city has always been known as a uniter in divided times and we will miss the opportunity to address issues that are important to our community.”

“Unfortunately, businesses, employees, and fans in Georgia are the victims of this decision,” the Braves added. “We will continue to support the community legacy projects which have been planned and are in the process.”

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred announced the league’s decision in a statement on Friday afternoon.

“Over the last week, we have engaged in thoughtful conversations with Clubs, former and current players, the Players Association, and The Players Alliance, among others, to listen to their views,” Manfred said. “I have decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year’s All-Star Game and MLB Draft.”

The MLB’s decision comes after President Joe Biden endorsed the idea on Wednesday in an interview with ESPN. Biden likened the voting reforms to “Jim Crow” laws and praised athletes who have used their platforms and sporting events to push political agendas.

You don’t like standing in line. You don’t like that there aren’t 50 unsupervised drop boxes around your precinct.

What if I find it fishy that the whole staff of election workers at my polling place are all black, but our town population is 80% white?

Also trying to understand why black people have allowed white liberals to convince they are too dumb to get a form of ID or know what a drivers license number is.

Wouldn’t mind you handing out water when you have long lines if you weren’t doing so to sway voters.

If you’ve got long lines and go at the same time every election, maybe you should go at a different time of day.

What do I care?

We haven't had major league baseball in Cincinnati for 30 years.

Hilarious. Further alienating their fan bases. Idiots in NYC, Boston, LA and a few other places will still show up, and after the nice weather bump ends back to low attendance. I will never attend another pro NFL, NBA, or MLB game. Watched a few Bengals game this past season.
