Former teammate of Greg Lee.
Caught the first half of their game against Cal Davis coached by Jim Les. Former Bradley player and head coach. Played a number of years in the NBA.
Impressed with athleticism and toughness. Plays at the rim. Drew several charges. Looking at his numbers prior to this past year and he was about the same numbers as Greg Lee this year 12 to 13 points a game 6-7 caroms a game. 6’4 220. Was averaging high 20 to low 30 minutes per game until this year. #’s indicate he shares the ball.
He’s one of these guys that can defensively play the 1-4. Depending on who the 1 is like Preston at 6’5, Reggie Jones BSU 6’6 Williams at Buffalo or Murray at CMU 6’5. Nice physical match on Roy(?) the frosh at Toledo.
Someone you could tell to go crash the O glass instead of sending four guys back every time like Western is done for years.
Lose Wilkins, Emilien, Cruz and Wright you’ve lost some toughness. None cept Titus came close to this kid’s #’s. No training wheels. 6th man type who can get 20-25 minutes playing 2 spots offensively and 4 on D. Versatile. He plays better he plays more.

PG Prospect
North Dakota transfer Tyree Ihenacho tells me he’s already heard from St John’s, Montana, Pacific, Drake, UNI, SIU, UNLV & Western Michigan.
Was Summit freshman of the year.
6’4 PG that averaged: 8.7 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 4.1 APG.

A couple interesting developments today...Tre Williams, Indiana State Center, commits to Duquesne. MSU’s Rocket Watts now in the Transfer Portal.

Ugh. TW would’ve worked very well in my opinion. Apparently I think like Keith Dambrodt. I need to see my therapist.

Toledo’s Marreon Jackson (their leading scorer I think) enters transfer portal. 1,011 portal entries as of this morning.

Recruited him out of Freeport Illinois and he chose UTSA. Prefers to shoot the three. Big body but slow and vertically challenged. Did not excel down there. Though he was given chances. Not sure I would like to have two primary Bigs leave after next year.
But available and not a stranger.

Another example of our devolving education system.
The skill of reading maps.
Young man confused Macomb Illinois with Macomb Michigan and signed a letter of intent with western Illinois instead of Western Michigan. Yes I understand Macomb Michigan is on the east side of the state. I have many problems reading maps and understanding them is not one of them. You?

Former target who thought he was too big for the MidAmerican. Dad was a big shot AAU guy in Minneapolis. Hasn’t played a lick. Wouldn’t, not at Wisky.
Walk on who had received a scholarship offer from Utah before deciding to walk on.
Not sure if he’s even desirable at this point from WMU’s perspective. But he’s out there.

Haven’t followed this kid but two years ago he hurt us up in Milwaukee, IMO. This is the game with Michael flowers made those three overtime shots.
The kid is physical at 67 235 which isn’t off the mark much size wise. Just another body that’s in the Midwest that isn’t going to go to Xavier or Ohio state and could be a good fit with experience and skill.
Question is does he see WMU as the type of program that he fits and can dance?

Ohio U. 6’10” Center Nolan Foster (from Mattawan) has entered the transfer portal. Will be interesting to see where he lands.
