UTEP had a senior-laden team and I remember some freshmen from Memphis beating them at their own home for the conference championship.

They weren’t as good as this Houston team but I remember a really young sophomore laden Memphis team losing to them twice a few weeks ago

Not next year...even if there Seniors come back, our kids will age too and 19-20 is a bigger difference than 22-23.

I would think that Grimes is the only NBA project, the others are just good but older players (men). Wonder if they will come back if they can. Without Grimes we are better, they were a scosh better this season. Better teams make more free throws

Like Williams. He is a really solid player for us because he is a young MAN. Next year with Juniors and a Senior or two it will be noticeable

All expenses are comped plus $4k per game played, so not much.

That's correct. It's a free year for anyone. Like a Cal run to the championship game - the season never happened.

Oregon State's has been red hot. They won 6 in a row against these teams:

UCLA - 16
Oregon - 15
Colorado - 8
Tennessee - 27
Oklahoma State - 34
Loyola-Chicago - 10

So 4 top 20 Kenpom teams and 2 others under 35. Great win for Houston. I think that they can beat Baylor but Gonzaga doesn't seem to have any weaknesses.

First team ever to play 4 double-digit seed teams in the tourney. They couldn't have had a more fortunate path. If that was our path then that's all you'd hear from the media.

USC has NBA players a good coach and might take them by surprise. Gonzaga seems to have entitlement issues. lol I don't know if those will cause them to lose, though.
