Winning at BYU is tough. Volleyball draws good crowds there.

VB does draw good crowds at BYU, but this game was at GCU. GCU tends to pack the gym for MVB as well since they are consistently ranked.

I think I must have seen a stock photo used in an article about the match because the photo showed BYU playing at home lol. And I was focused on the match scores more than the location. Definitely one for the ages.

The UVU and Dixie St should be the best of the games to watch for those who really do not care. Dixie has looked good, then not so good as well. UVU has a tough month of March, Dixie, NMSU and GCU with UTRGV thrown in there as well.

NMSU looked like they had everything in hand at the end of the 2nd. Last set was tied 16-16, UVU had two successive blocks to win it.

RGV coach was 416-36 as a head coach when he started there. While his records at RGV aren't nearly as gaudy, they have been mostly good, and he seems to schedule up. I am familiar with him from this South Dakota days way back when.

I am hoping they get back in form because I feel they can be a highly successful sport for RGV.

That does seem to be the case. Just wondering why one sport seems to outrank other sports in this category. Personally, I'd love to see all the transitioning teams play in all tournaments. I know it was frustrating as a GCU fan to have to wait 4 years.

Yeah, it's weird. Maybe because BB is revenue producing? The more teams in WACVegas, the more potential to make money from fans.
