I'm guessing DePaul has their sights set higher or else Burno never would have taken the NIU job. I just simply cannot believe a scenario where NIU got him without DePaul knowing and without him knowing 1) DePaul was firing Leitao and 2) that he was next in line.

Although, I too thought of Fleck when I saw this but those situations were vastly different.

Probably enough to cover whatever is remaining on his contract but nothing that would stop a P5/6/7? conference school from grabbing him. Otherwise, he'd be a fool for agreeing to it.
