Yes, they are the "Ohio State" of North Carolina - especially in hoops. It's probably closer in terms of football fans between them and North Carolina St. I'll add - I went to the 2010 UC game at Carter-Finley Stadium when Russell Wilson was under center. Very impressed with NCSU's stadium, pre-game tailgaing, game atmosphere, and their passionate fans.

Do you remember that gosh-forsaken wolf howl they played over the stadium speakers after every play? What UC section were you in - lower or upper deck? My wife and I were in the upper deck with some UC faithful.

Yeah, it was not one of our better games to be in the visiting stadium. That's wild that we were in the same section at that point in time. Bearcatmark in the house...

Michigan experiences a "KMart lite" moment of sorts with senior Isaiah Livers out indefinitely with a foot injury.

I have a similar memory from the game in Knoxville.

Ohio State - Michigan game has been fantastic so far. Franz Wagner reminds me of Andrei Kirilenko on the defensive end. Gets his hands on everything.

Both of these teams are going to give A TON of ball-movement clinics a lot of film to use in training programs.

Rick Petino leads the Iona Gales to the NCAA with a 60-51 win over Fairfield. He is a dirt bag but sure an coach. How long before he gets a call up?

I believe that's iona"s 5th straight ncaa tournament. They won 4 of the last 5 maac tournaments and were an at large the other year.

Georgetown pummeling Cretan in the big least.

There's a lot of local sewer districts on red alert right now.

LSU just about pulled off a 1983 NC State against Alabama, but couldn't get the putback to fall.

They are paying Miller $10,000,000 to go away. That's gotta be nearing some kind of record for a buyout in college basketball right?

CJ Gunn's scouting report from 247:

"Has solid size and smooth athleticism as a 6-5 shooting guard. Strong leaper off two feet which pays off on his pull up jumper and his rebounding. Prefers to go right and is primarily a straight line driver. Is a good three-point shooter. Average ball handler and passer. Is a conscientious defender."

Sounds like a good Keith/Harvey replacement. I would imagine the staff will be reaching out to both he and Duncomb.

Anthony Leal also had us in his Final 3 when Brannen came on and recruited him like crazy. 6'5" SG who was also Indiana Mr. Basketball in 2019-20.
