I take credit for making the USU/NMSU rivalry as heated as it was. That was a fun rivalry.

We'll have plenty next year when the otherTexas 51%'ers come on board. For now, you'll have to do.

Well, we'll get a crack at them this fall in our 7 game Mountain West schedule. Not too early to raise some tension:)

So, nothing else going on? We going to keep talking about a game from weeks ago?

The rivalry was really for basketball. USU pretty much owned us in football. But we sure did get them in the Arizona Bowl in 2017. That's a game I'll never forget.

After Tarleton shellacking of Dixie State tonight, there is NO DOUBT they would drill the NM State Aggies again. Only fluke was Dixie beating TSU earlier this season. 05-stirthepot

Tarleton not a fluke. Dixie a fluke. First post ever. You ooze credibility...

Tarleton beating NMSU wasn't a fluke nor did it put us on the map. The first Dixie State game was probably due to overconfidence.

03-yawn That is your only comeback first post credibility. Cmon man! That is as weak as your football program. Never mind the fact you shelled out over $150k to get your proverbial butts kicked up between your shoulder blades. FYI I have been around football for decades no Johnny Come Lately.

This guy and IT have pretty similar posting patterns and demeanors. Maybe Crimson can tell us if they have the same IP.

Not really. Your guy brought up that Tarleton’s win over NM State was a fluke. After last night’s drubbing of Dixie State proved that was the real fluke. Turned it off at 34-3. Hmmm... isn’t Dixie State the same team the Aggies barely escaped?

When are the Aggies coming back for seconds? All I hear are crickets

Thanks. I have no trouble talking smack especially when Final Four let his alligator mouth overload his hummingbird butt. This cat needs to realize the Texans had to scrape the Aggies off the bottom of their cleats before leaving the Sun Bowl. I mean really your haughty and you are an outpost of El Paso. Yes I’ve been to Las Cruces. Great Take on your version of Mexican food different from our Tex Mex. Love those Hatch Chilis

That being said, the Texans should be 5-0 this season. I put both losses squarely on the coaching staff. Whiten does a great job recruiting but he sometimes takes his foot off the gas pedal way to soon and it has came back to bite him more than once. You would think he would learn. I get the I don’t won’t to embarrass them but he also needs to realize it’s up to the other team to stop him. Unless your up by four TDS in the fourth don’t start your grind the clock game.

You're not wrong. Whitten suffers from "nice guy" syndrome. Doesn't want to hurt the opponent's feelings. That's sweet and all, but this is D1 football, and there are real dollars involved. I've just about had it.

Wait, so to have a “credible post”, you have to have what, 1000 posts? 2000+? Dude! There are some ding dongs on this site that meet that criteria, but probably need help tying their own shoes.

In the first Dixie State game, did Whitten fumble? Did he throw the interceptions? Did he commit 8 penalties?

NMSU would trash Tarleton if the game is played in Las Cruces in the fall.
