If that underlying factor changes, then the numbers will decrease.

The latter explanation is the obvious one. Society today encourages young people to be confused at a time when they are unsure of themselves and just developing into who they will become.. Its not a good thing.

This is what happens when people are taught to view biological sex as some series of "identities" that must be discovered in order for you to live in harmony instead of just being another biological variable you learn to live with like height or body type.

I've seen estimates that show that LGBT people account for between 3 and 5 percent of the population.

That would make them a minority group.

I try not to think about the LGBT community but it seems to come up alot in this very conservatives forum.

It's almost like being LGBT isn't based upon genetics at all....
