If you follow the coaches on twitter you can pick up a few things:

They seem to be excited about Jacob Waskow and Pete Nygra for new(ish) guys.

The safeties all seem to be impressing the coaches with how hard they work. Dozier is a name that is popping up all the time.

Coaches really like Rocky at QB.

No real mention of any Corners...same ol' same ol'...

Also a post about the coaching staff and their new duties:

https://niuhuskies.com/news/2021/2/11/fo...roles.aspx

Of note, Dan Jackson taking over passing game Defense. Makes a lot of sense, that was a total **** show last season. It was so flawed schematically that they had to do something. Glad Hammock is.

Thank you Big Chilla. That gives me the fix I needed.

Spring Football- Jonesing
I have the spring "game" penciled in at Saturday, April 10 and should be open to visitors.

Hammock is a morning guy so plan accordingly.

I made a post about the corners not being mentioned - I take that back.

You do hear the coaches excited about McGee, Rodgers and the kid from Canada.

Not sure if that means they play - I mean none of them are starters. Both starters are back but no one is really “excited” about them.

Hammock tweeted Raishein Thomas is now at 260lbs.

And a before after...he came in at 208. That’s 52lbs if you are scoring at home. Hammock is building an NFL sized D line.

You can't help but be excited about some of these updates that Hammock is posting. His vision is starting to come to life. You win in the trenches. If these young OL/DL continue to develop and getting bigger, it's going to be a gamechanger....immediately

Yeah that’s a full size defensive line for next season.

Your starting ends can each be around 270lbs and 2 300lbs tackles. Yikes that’s a big front.

As long as they didn't sacrifice quickness, I am all good with that

All these “before and after” updates.....

Watching the games on TV last year we looked so undersized compared to our opponents.

And this tweet alluding to a fierce competition (presumably for playing/starting time) by True Freshman Ty Myles at the CB position.
