The poor coordination is the fault of individual states [Va is the worst/last of 50] not the US Health Care System. The Federal Government [Trump] took the lead in getting the vaccines developed in record time. But the distribution and vaccination process was always the responsibility of each individual states. Some states are doing a good job and some states are not.

As of today, Virginia is now 12th on the list of percentage of doses administered by state, at 68.9%. So, the machine got in gear.

RE: COVID-19
Wasn't sure the best thread to put this, but...

CAA Schedule this week is:

Wed - Northeastern @ UNC
Thu - W&M/Elon
Sat - W&M/Elon

Every single other game is postponed due to Covid protocols.

I don't like it, but I honestly think the CAA should consider cancelling the conference tournament and bubble up the league champion for 2 weeks prior to the NCAA tourney.

Amazing that NE is traveling to UNC! UNC game with VPI postponed due to Covid so win-win. Hope Northeastern pulls upset in Chapel Hill. Game TV on ACCX at 7pm.

NCAA should have forced a shortened regular season for all conferences, THEN have all conference tournament teams quarantine within their own conference-wide 2week bubble beforehand, which would then be continued for one week at regional bubbles and so forth.

Tough to do 3 weeks of quarantine for colleges I'd think especially since many of them are in person classes

W&M likely needs to win both games this weekend to ensure finishing in the top 6. Every weekend at this point is uncertain as to whether the games are played. 6-4, .600 winning percentage would put the Tribe in decent position. .500 or less and they might fall behind Drexel.

Drexel plays JMU twice. I'd say they have a better chance to lose both than win both. We should be no worse than 1-3 in our last four games which gets us to 5-7. Drexel would be 4-6 if they split. I don't see us come in any worse than 6.

COVID-19
Gov Northam announced that starting Monday up to 250 people are allowed to attend outdoor sporting events. I know it is more with an eye towards high schools, but it is a step in the right direction.

Shouldn't it be a percentage of capacity vice 250 flat? 250 people at a HS stadium isn't the same as 250 at a VT football game.

Not sure if there is more to it. The 250 number was lifted directly from his presser.

Only one JMU Drexel game as we played the first a few weeks ago. Single game on the 28th in H'burg.

Thanks for the update. Drexel and the CAA schedule show two games, JMUs shows one.

COVID-19
After seeing on my local news about issues the University of MD is having with Covid, I decided to revisit the W&M Covid dashboard. I haven't been there in a while, and for the most part, we seem to be handling it fairly well. [Image: 00f74492384fcb3dc435fd70ce3247a1.jpg]
