There’s a lot of folks who pre-booked vacations for this week, many of them can’t return home. Cruz happens to be one of them. I think Beto is just mad because he hates his life. I'm in Austin. Friends, family, coworkers have been without water or power or both since Monday 2am. Roads are so icy there is no escape for people even if they want to. Hotels are (illegally) price gouging and rooms going at $900+ a night. There is a boil advisory so if you have water you cannot drink it even if you have the access. What a gross time for a top state official to go on vacation.

Legitimately no excuse that will be good enough for me. Any elected official who does the same would be a POS as well.
