I just mentioned in the other thread...How possible would it be for the NCAA to delay the tourney for a couple of weeks to allow makeup games? Metrics are absolutely improving across the country, and should continue with the vax and (soon) warmer temps.

I wonder if the NCAA may just dump it in the lap of the conferences and let them do whatever. It wouldn't surprise me if the AAC used the time between the last scheduled game weekend and the conference tourney time to play the make-up games (as much as they need to) and then declare the auto-bid to the leader after that. And then leave the rest of the teams fortunes to the whims of the committee. I'm not advocating for that, but I could see it happening. But, I guess they would also lose out on the $$$ that they receive from the conference tournament.

I have a feeling the Tigers are going to miss out on most of the regular season conference games. The tournament is where the conference representative is decided. At large is going to be nearly impossible with the Tigers record, probably the only road to the national championship tournament is through Cinncinatti.
